I had another great dinner last night. BBQ chicken (yes with the bone AND skin, my favorite) and a new GG veggie that I tried. Its called Garden Vegetable Medley and has snap peas, roasted red peppers and potatoes. Now, I KNOW I just said the other day that I rarely eat potatoes when dieting and that was true but since I made those awesome roasted potatoes the other week, I've been more into eating them. This GG veggie was only 2 WW points and 100 calories for the entire box and I got my potatoes!
I also had a great thing happen this morning. Is this what you would call a NSV? I've been reading about those in other blogs, and I'm thinking this might qualify. Several months ago I had purchased some jeans that I figured I would fit into soon. Well, I had been hesitating to try them on because I have one pair of jeans a size bigger in that same brand that fits so I was thinking that those size smaller ones wouldn't fit just yet. WELL I tried a pair on this morning and they FIT! And they are ROOMY enough to stick my hand down the waist! I am so excited. I haven't worn this size in so long and it feels really great. It totally helped me want to try to stick to my plan this weekend, instead of cheating like I was thinking about doing.
My daughter is coming home this weekend though and the desire to cheat will be strong. We tend to influence each other badly as far as eating. But, I'm hoping I can get through the weekend without doing TOO badly.
Here's my food from Thursday:
Breakfast: 1 whole egg, light, multigrain english muffin and 1 turkey sausage patty
Lunch: Healthy Choice Ravioli Florentine Marinara
Dinner: 8 oz. chicken breast w/ skin and bone, bbq sauce and GG Garden Veg. Medley
Dessert: A pear and a strawberry greek yogurt
Totals for the day: 25 points, 1, 341 calories, 67.6 oz. water and no exercise :(
